🔥 Main News
Ian Wright suggests James Maddison would be a good fit for Newcastle United
Arsenal legend Ian Wright believes that Leicester City’s James Maddison would be an excellent addition to Newcastle United, as Tottenham and Arsenal also show interest in the midfielder. Maddison is set to leave the Foxes following their relegation from the Premier League, and his contract situation means he could be available for £40 million. The Sun reports that Spurs and Newcastle are both vying for Maddison and Harvey Barnes’ signatures, with the Londoners making Maddison their top summer target. However, Wright thinks that Maddison’s energy and talent would be best suited for a team like Newcastle, where he can lead the transitional part and play alongside a front man with great movement.
Thomas Tuchel to try and convince Declan Rice to join Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel is reportedly planning to try and convince West Ham United’s Declan Rice to join the German giants, as Arsenal also shows interest in the midfielder. Rice has been linked with a move away from the Hammers this summer, and Tuchel is said to be a big fan of the England international. It remains to be seen whether Rice would be open to a move to the Bundesliga, but Tuchel’s interest could make for an intriguing transfer battle.
